We can’t get enough of New York twosome, Beau, here at Wonderland: they were one of our gorgeous 10th Anniversary Issue covers, and spoke to Eve Barlow about their artistic struggle in the city (preach) and how Radiohead changed their lives. Beau, AKA Heather Boo and Emma Rose, also hit us recently with a black and white, webcam-on-Myspace style video for their track ‘Oceans’, which is drenched in the soulful-indie for which the two are fast becoming renowned.
A self-titled EP was released on Kitsune earlier this year, featuring ‘One Wing’ which is the kind of song that inhabits your mind for weeks on end with its beguiling melody and distinctive vocal work. Amid all that, the girls still managed to curate a dreamy playlist for us (did we mention that we love them?) and now they’re coming to the UK for a gig at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington on November 9th that we just happen to some tickets to give away.
