After graduating from the prestigious London Cordainers College in 1983, collaborating with numerous fashion houses and having his own successful label Wannabe, renowned shoe designer Patrick Cox returns with luxury brand Lathbridge. The new accessories are influenced heavily by British heritage and the main inspiration behind the branding are Cox’s prized bulldogs, Cesar and Brutus. Cute.

Lathbridge’s debut collection for this Autumn/Winter is for both men and women and consists of trainers, military-style boots and 70’s-inspired brogues made by Italian artisans with the finest leathers, no less. The launch also features a capsule collection of stylish small leather accessories. There is a air of androgyny in the designs which are practical but modern and really beautifully made. The collection features a range of colours perfect for this autumn – chocolate browns, military greens and deep winey reds.  A favourite has to be the boots in camouflaged mock-croc, finished with gunmetal zips – they’re avaiable now in Selfridges and Harrods.
