Historical brand Coach are beginning their Modern Luxury roll-out in Europe with a flagship store opening in Paris.

How best to celebrate your 75th birthday? Open a mega-store in Paris obviously, if you’re leather good aficionados, Coach, that is. It doesn’t get much chicer than Coach so naturally their new store is located in one of Paris’ most prestigious shopping districts on the Rue Saint-Honoré.

Of course birthdays are nothing without presents (shallow, but true) so get ready to be lusting after Duffle and Saddle bags inspired by that most American of sports: baseball.

Coach’s Creative Director, Stuart Vevers, who’s revitalised the brand into one of our most recent favourites has collaborated with renowned interior and furniture designer William Sofield to create a store that is distinctly New York in its atmosphere. NY in Paris, you’ve got the best of both worlds. Flooring at the entrance is inspired by NY subway tiles and the glass block wall at the rear of the store is an ode to the glass sky-scrapers of Coach’s homeland.

Nothing says luxury like a personal touch either so be sure to head to the Craftsmanship Bar to get your purchases monogrammed and peek around the archive display of the brand’s greatest hits.
