Humberto Leon and Carol Lim create a Kodak moment for Opening Ceremony AW15.

Humberto Leon and Carol Lim pay tribute to their photographer friend, Spike Jonze with Opening Ceremony’s AW15 collection. Not only is there a Kodak capsule collection within their AW15 line, playing on the iconic rainbow logos, they drew on Jonze’s own personal archive for prints, collaged shots of Björk, Chlöe Sevigny and Kim Gordon make up digital prints and Jonze’s handwritten notes and doodles get a look in on jacquards.

If you’re after a quieter look, OC have filled the rest of line with camel, navy and forest green for their autumn palette. Womenswear nods towards the guys with oversized coats cinched in at the waist with belts, loose trousers and skirts never creeping above the knee. The statement piece? A winter coat the colour of Tony the Frosties Tiger, in a good way.

Most of the graphics go to the menswear but who cares who’s modelling it? The girls will surely be buying it too, with oversized t-shirt knits, a photographic printed suit and shirt and sleeveless sweaters all making it onto our wishlist, along with the new look OC Chelsea sneakers in tiger flock suede or zebra print pony hair. A select few of the Kodak prints have made it online already with tees still listed as “coming soon”.
