London belle Wølffe serves up a large dose of drama in her video for ‘Shoot You Down’.
After venturing away from home to find inspiration, 23-year-old Wølffe landed in New York City to film her first music video. Her latest track “Shoot You Down” opens with an ear-tickling synth that commands your attention from the onset. Wølffe’s following vocals sway between being seductive and soulful and along with the mini-clip are polished enough to deserve a place on the big screen.
Imagine a James Bond type scenario, there’s femme fatales, as many spirit bottles and just as much action packed into this glimpse of Wølffe’s imagination, just pretend Bond is bearded and a little rough around the edges and you’re there. A focal point amongst the drama, all the other elements of the song concentrate to surround Wølffe’s voice, low pitched piano keys rumble beneath and hand claps keep time while the vocals tell the tale. Commanding, beautiful and having just jumped onto a roster alongside Ed Sheeran and Elton John at Rocket Music Management, we’re sure we’ll be seeing, and hearing, a lot more from Wølffe.
