Following on from his debut single, “Proud”, Sample Answer is back and he’s trying to be a “Good Boy”.
Produced by Hugh Forthergill (think Bipolar Sunshine and our fave Irish boy band babes Kodaline), Sample Answer, whose real name is Maurice O’ Connor, has treated us to the premiere of his new video for “Good Boy”.Originally from Dublin but currently residing in London, Sample Answer is set to release the second single from the EP of the same name on 24th July.
Combining a variety of contrasting influences from The Beatles to Jay Z, the 20-year-old musician merges hip-hop and pop songwriting with an urban flare. Confessing that he doesn’t like to limit himself to one style, “Good Boy” has an all-together chilled sound to it with O’ Connor’s distinctive vocal range of effortless openings to uplifting harmonies. Much like his previous single “Proud”, “Good Boy” leaves you wanting more as it draws you in with a relaxed vibe and memorable riffs.
There’s no doubt his fans will be eagerly waiting his EP and we’ve got the first look at the new video, so sit back and enjoy.
