Following on from their debut single ‘Get Me By’, Boy Scout mark their return with yet more mesmerising sounds from their lo-fi studio set-up.

The industry’s ears now on standby for what will follow from the wondrous singer/producer duo, Boy Scout, and their reaction to these waves of love takes the form of their second single: ‘Bitter Blue’.

Whilst the track feels more driven, there is room to breathe in ‘Bitter Blue’, the track is synth-heavy, full of lush cinematic textures where the rhythm section really takes on a life of its own. While their mystery remains intact, Boy Scout’s producer half tells how ‘Bitter Blue’ was the spark that set their musical journey alight. He explains, “We were both talking about how easy it is to get caught in this cyclical, adolescent and unfulfilling lifestyle. The track was kind-of a homage to our combined regrets of the last few years.”
