Fresh from a trip in Cannes, Petite Meller gives us an exclusive look at her daily signature style
Unusually alluring, singer Petite Meller is a new-fangled face in French pop with a spirited love of make-believe and a colourful image to match. Her new song “Baby Love”, described by Meller herself as a song for “broken hearted schoolgirls” includes joyful gospel drumbeats, a jazz saxophone solo and a catchy chorus that’s hard to shake off. The new song is accompanied by a colourful music video set in Africa, where Meller’s creativity and youthful spirit comes out to play.
Petite Meller would not be complete without her quirky style reminiscent of 1930s France and her pink Kabuki make-up powdered on snowy white skin. Over five days in Cannes, we take a look at her key styles and distinguishable floppy hats while she soaks up the Mediterranean sun on the French Riviera.
