In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Larry Clark’s Kids, streetwear brand Supreme are set to release a capsule collection on Thursday.
Cult director Larry Clark’s debut Kids hit screens 25 years ago. The insight into 1990s NYC youth was a culturally significant documentation of the time. It was all born out of skate photography, through which Harmony Korine (the writer), Leo Fitzpatrick (the star) and director Larry Clark came together.
It’s no surprise that Supreme are taking part in the anniversary celebrations, what with two of their team riders, Justin Pierce and Harold Hunter having featured in the film. The collection depicts stills from the film and includes sweatshirts, t-shirts and skateboards.
Available in-store NY, LA, London and online May 21st. Available in Japan May 23rd.
