Preppy season is nearly upon us as US brand Ralph Lauren release this year’s Wimbledon Collection and accompanying campaign.

Wimbledon is the height of British summer and what we Brits do best. Whether it’s rain or shine, spectators will be the courts in whites brighter than the players’ with as many strawberries as they can fit in their mouths. Polo Ralph Lauren do the preppy look best, with a mix of Sunday school smart and athletic style and as a brand with a history that goes back almost as far as Wimbledon’s, who better to create a collection based around the tournament?

Having been the official outfitter of Wimbledon since 2006, the brand is reviving tried and tested designs as well as playing on traditions established way before their unison and revamping looks for the 21st century. We’ll be investing in a sleeveless cricket knit just in case we manage to bag courtside seats. If we get stuck supporting from the pub, again, there’s polos, tees and sweaters too.
