We premiere the video for Nordic Giants’, “Rapture”, the lead track from their forthcoming debut album, A Séance of Dark Delusions.

The latest effort from Nordic Giants is nothing short of a cinematic feat. Like a scene from a post-apocalyptic action film, two companions kitted out in gas masks drag a survivor across every terrain imaginable. It’s like a full feature with the dialogue cut out. Led by the duo, we battle across beaches, mountains and fall into mounds of snow, but never falter. The duo even touch on environmental issues, venturing into the obstacle of carbon emissions in a short opening message.

Just as dramatic as the imagery is the music, featuring Beth Cannon, the vocals cut through the atmospheric synths and settle, floating on top of running scales of backing keys. Nordic Giants aren’t afraid of percussion either, throwing in crashing cymbals and thudding, marching bass drums. Self-produced, directed and edited, this is truly a Nordic Giants production through and through.
