PREMIERE: TIDELINES – “SAY MY NAME”

Alt-pop London duo Tidelines are here with their video for “Say My Name” to bring a touch of the creepy and sinister into the scene.

If you’re reading this, congratulations. You’ve been a Tidelines fan since the very beginning. It’s inevitable you’re going to love their debut release, “Say My Name”. A fuzz-filled synth symphony with off-beat percussion, the electronic track swells with melody, rising and falling with every line of lead singer, Niomi’s softly spoken lyrics.

The video is a weird one, but we’re into it. Harsh black and white, Niomi spits out something viscous while she speaks. The liquid drips upward as if it’s played in reverse but her lip synching is perfect somehow. Completely hypnotising. The South East London duo, made up of Niomi and Colin, will release their Say My Name EP 30th April, including two more tracks, “Metallic” and “Save Me”.
