Tequila, festivals and Parisian anecdotes, we get to know Christopher McCrory from SUPA.
How did you become a model?
It’s actually a funny story, haha. I was at a festival and had just been sick all over the floor when a scout called Nikki Sheldon came up to me and asked if I wanted to be a model.. and… here I am.
How would you describe your style?
Neo Mancunian industrialist meets goth. Joking… I don’t know. I’m just me. I’ll wear what’s closest to my bed In the morning.
What’s been your favourite moment working so far?
Probably when I went to Paris. When I arrived the first thing I saw was a drunk guy masturbating waiting for the tube. I knew then I was going to have fun. I hadn’t been before and it was really nice, the architecture, churches, galleries, it’s a beautiful city.
You’re a photographer too – what do you enjoy taking photos of most?
I like to take photos of everything, life, raw emotion or the physical form. I tend to base most of my shoots around intimacy, sexuality, relationships and other relatable themes.
What else do you like to do in your spare time?
Spare time? In London? Haha! I’m a bit of a workaholic so If I do have spare time it’s spent with friends, taking photos, drinking tequila, having a laugh and the occasional last min holiday.
We’ve been looking at your Insta – you went to see Die Antwoord recently! Who else are you into?
Ah yes! Die Antwoord are pretty amazing. I’m going to Miami to see them at Ultra Festival too. My music taste is so broad it can vary from la dispute and metal to trance, bashment, rap, r&b the list continues.. I’m all over the place with my taste! I love music.
If you were making a playlist what would your top three tracks be?
Ooosh. Ermm tough one.. my ATM top 3 is:

If you were going to take us on a night out in London, where would we go?
Probably around East or Shoreditch? There’s loads of bars and lots going on. Tequila?
If you could be anyone else for the day who would you be?
I’m quite happy being myself. Maybe a richer version?
