Californian post-punk band Corners are premiering their track “No Confusion”, set to break new ground in the UK.
Influenced by the 70s and 80s, emerging with surfer garage vibes and bringing a loose Western twang, Corners are the picking up steam with their eclectic sounds. Starting out with a slurry of LA based shows in 2012, Corners are new on the block. These casual rockabillies have the undeniable hipster nonchalant charm. Releasing their music on 7″, we’re sure they’re going to be a hit with the indie kids – you know those friends who heard them before they were big – well that’s us, and now, you.
They are sure to blow up with the echoing vocals (there’s something in the hollering that’s reminiscent of the Beastie Boys), hypnotising synths and ultimately No Confusion about their upcoming album. Following the hugely successful Maxed Out On Distractions, if you’ve got you’re ear to the ground you’ll know that we should be waiting eagerly on the white cliffs of Dover for their landing in the UK in April. With a set of tour dates spotted across the country, we’ll be clamouring to get a look in at these post punk sensations.
No Confusion will be available to purchase on vinyl from 10th April.
