London group FURS are here to get you ready for the disco. Here at Wonderland we yearn for the days of glitter balls and light up dance floors and an opportunity to pull out our carefully coordinated dance routine. Whenever that day comes, we’ve got the perfect soundtrack from FURS. “I Wanna Know” is the real deal with retro analogue synths and a guitar hook breakdown that will make your feet itch if you don’t start to dance. Lead singer Danielle Wade’s voice remains controlled throughout, understatedly cool, until the song climaxes into luscious harmonies.

Masters of all trades, FURS produced recorded the track themselves, with some helpful finishing touches coming from Claudius Mittendorfer. The band (also comprised of Liam Wade, Amina Bates and Olly Betts) have just finished a four week residency at Waiting Rooms, in East London and have finished a tour supporting Gaz Coombes. Having been doing the rounds as a group since 2012, you can expect to hear a full album from the band later this year, plenty of time to get that dance routine perfect then.

‘I Wanna Know’ is due for release on 30th March with an album following later this year.
