Making their NYFW debut, Nicopanda served up their second full collection of “kawaii-meets-punk” at their presentation.

Sportswear for the dancefloor

‘Disco Sports’ is right up there as one of the best names for a collection we’ve heard in the last year. You’re not exactly going to wear your glitter flared catsuit out on the running track, so Nicopanda have found a happy medium for you. Slogan emblazoned tracksuits in eye-wateringly vibrant colours, loose cocooning coats and PVC shirts are all on offer. Ok, you might not want to get a light jog on in a patent material, but it looks kinda sporty.

All grown up

Not quite as sickly sweet as the last collection, Nicopanda have matured and moved into their formative years, the teenage rebellion, door-slamming, all-night raving period when you’re young and daring enough to wear your swish new trackies to the club.

Get ready to ruffle

Details came in the form of waves of ruffles, not frothy but perfectly formed curves rippling down coats and sweaters as well as on sharply cut net dresses. Oversized bows are there to tie you up like the wonderful present you are.
