MSGM PRE-FALL 2015 COLLECTION

MSGM unveil a bright fusion of styles, print and texture in their collection for Pre-Fall 2015.  29_MSGM

Bold and beautiful, print is dominant in the MSGM, a mixture of graphic shapes, stripes and bandana emblems. Packed full with colour; perky greens, pinks and yellow mix with hues of deep purple and glaring oranges for an eclectic collection. Looking forwards and backwards at the same time, creative director Massimo Giorgetti has created a blend of global cultural references and modern silhouettes and shapes. Reminiscent of the folk movement, the bold prints rejuvenate the tired idea of ‘festival chic’ with vigor. Huge yellows are blinding but paired with a subtly printed black blouse, it pulls the look together with the equivalent of hawk eye attention to detail. The wild, wild, west plays its own part with totem pole symbolism and fringing.

At the polar end of the collection, there are racy black and red outfits with luxurious furs scarves and slick red skater skirts. The more conservative fashionistas may prefer their more muted offerings, camel jumpers and coats with bursts of colour and huge statement hearts and stars. Energetic and sprightly this collection is the perfect for the bright young things.
