How were you scouted?

It’s a bit of ridiculous story. For my 16th birthday I had a house party at my parents house in Brighton. Me and some friends put it on Facebook and about 600 people ended up showing up (whoops!). The story somehow made international news and Sarah Doukas (the founder of Storm) saw my picture in the papers and called me up!

You’ve got lots of colourful make up looks from shoots on your Instagram, have you picked up any tips from MUAs and do you have a daily look yourself?

I’ve tried picking up makeup tips but I’m still really rubbish at doing my own makeup. My daily look is unfailingly just MAC face and body foundation, mascara and Maybelline baby lips. I also love NARS multiple sticks for cheeks.

We see you went as Jessie from Toy Story for Halloween, if you could be a fictional character forever who would you be?

Jessie the cowgirl is my spirit animal! I love all things cowgirl! So definitely her.

Winona forever! Or maybe River Phoenix?

You’re imitating Ophelia at the Tate in another pic, who would you say your favourite artist is?

Wow, far, far too many to name! I love Otto Dix, Franz Gertsch and Tamara de Lempicka, Georgia O’Keeffe, Goya, Schiele, Freud, Reynolds…… I could go on and on.

Lots of adorable fluffy animals too! If you could keep a pet as a side-kick and take it on shoots what animal would you pick and what would you call it?

I have a little rex bunny rabbit called Edward Hopper (another favourite artist), so definitely him! Rabbits are just the best, they have charming personalities. I’d love to take him to shoots but he might end up gnawing through camera equipment.
