Did you always want to be a model growing up?
Growing up I thought I wanted to be a lawyer, however it fell through I got scouted when I was 15 by a family friend who is a photographer. Through out modelling I discovered my passions is to be a chef, so now I’m doing both.
Have you ever had any memorable model mishaps?
I’ve had plenty of model mishaps, maybe one of the most memorable ones is actually falling of the runway during one of my first shows and scraping my knees all the way. This was one of my first shows. I started laughing and everyone laughed with me and thought it was cute. I actually cried backstage and later on continued crying home, haha.
Your Insta shows lots of sun-drenched photos, what’s your favourite thing to do when you’re at home in Croatia?
When I’m home I relax, read, cook, paint and soak up as much sun as I can. The coast of Croatia is absolutely amazing and you don’t want to do anything else!
We’ve seen your bridal shoot in a beautiful white lace dress, has there ever been a piece on a shoot or at a show that you wished you could take home?
That lace wedding dress I absolutely loved! There has been a few times where I wanted to get my hands on clothing. I did a shoot where there was beautiful fur and brand new Louboutins. My eyes were literally falling out the sockets.
Who’s your ultimate model pin-up?
I must be honest, I don’t have a favourite model pin up, but if I had to choose I’d pick Veronika Lake. So glamorous, stylish and sexy! Real femme fatale!
It looks like you’ve done a lot of super-glam and Hollywood looks with film-star curls and red lips but how would you describe your personal style?
I’d say my style is either super casual, like long sweater dresses and boots, or very business woman like. I like pointy heels and high waisted skirts, shirts, hats, etc… I always wear heels though, it doesn’t matter if it hurts!
What would be the soundtrack to your life?
Soundtrack to my life? I don’t have one, there’s a whole playlist going on in the background, but definitely a lot of funk and soul, especially Erykah Badu’s Honey.
