For all those of you with Chanel Salzburg envy, we’ve got the pictures ready to either eliminate or exacerbate the little green monster.

On Tuesday night, Salzburg was the place to be. Not really what you’d associate with a good time, a mid-week evening and a mid-sized city in a small European country, but for one night, this was the epicentre of the fashion world, as Chanel broadcast their Metier d’Art show to the insiders on the front row and fans worldwide via a stream of the ‘Reincarnation’ video, starring Cara Delevingne and Pharrell.

The setting was opulent and overwhelming and the clothes slid straight into the décor, gold leaf intertwining with gold embroidered jackets and rows of baby blue frills on dresses falling under dripping chandeliers. This collection is for the kind of Chanel girl that is feminine and traditional, but wild and alive, ready to explore in the Austrian snow in shiny boots and luxurious layers.
