Yesterday saw the unveiling of the design for Coach’s Rodeo Drive flagship store in the US.
The new concept store, covering almost 4000sq ft of space, was developed by Coach Executive Creative Director, Stuart Vevers, in partnership with world renowned creative firm Studio Sofield. It seems the brief for the architects was super-chic and super-luxe and it was certainly fulfilled, with a two-storey high glass façade, bronze signs, pine, granite and hand-tufted wool floors and an overall emphasis on a natural colour palette.
“As the Coach brand continues on the path of transformation, I wanted to create something different – different for Coach and unique in luxury,” said Coach Executive Creative Director Stuart Vevers.” “I believe the new incarnation of the Coach store that William Sofield and I created will trigger a powerful change in the perception of Coach; it is sophisticated and refined, yet playful and authentic.”
