Check out Post Louis’ engrossing new video for their single Fragility, and explore their second EP release.
It’s been 9 months since Post Louis first EP, and now they’re back with a storming second, Uptight. In a move on from This Could Be a Bridge, their newest material exploits and explored the tension between the power of playing in a big live band, and the intimacy of home recording. This shows through, mainly because the EP was recorded at the home of Robbie Stern and Stephanie Davin, the band’s songwriters. With Stern on guitar and Davin on vocals, they complete a reconstructed line up of Post Louis’ six-strong line up. This time around, the vulnerable sound of This Could Be a Bridge has been merged in favour of a stronger, self-possessed lyrical vibe. Post Louis are making a name for themselves and attracting all the right listeners with their steadfast sound.
This week sees the premiere for the band’s new video for the single Fragility, directed by Sophie Bernberg. Exploring the double sided element of character, the protagonists share a duality between a charming and effervescent public face, and a pained private side. A fitting video for an engrossing tune, check it out here now.
