Previous New Noise star Amy Steele give us an exclusive listen of her new single ‘The Wolves’.
We’re a big fan of Amy Steele and championed the young singer / songwriter a few months ago when we gave her our New Noise stamp of approval.
Having collaborated with both Mario and The Game in the past, the London based singer-songwriter has been in the studio working on her sound after releasing her single ‘Bury You Deep’ this year. It’s no surprise we’re expecting big things to come from Steele’s new single ‘The Wolves’. The narrative of her latest release is a girl ‘throwing her heart to the wolves’ which appears a relatable metaphor for choosing to wear her heart on her sleeve in a new relationship. Showcasing her sultry vocals (drawing similarities to Banks, Lana Del Rey and Indiana) as well as her strong ability to write lyrics which is in turns vulnerable, provocative and perfectly delivered in Steele’s distinctive, silky vocals.
Amy’s first headline show is set for November 25th at the O2 Academy Islington, ahead of her EP due towards the end of the year. Listen to ‘The Wolves’ below.
