Northamptonshire production duo Laurie and Lewis, aka Just Kiddin’, have released the visuals for their latest effort “Thinking About It”, in collaboration with Eton Messy Records
Seemingly taking place in a world inhabited entirely by the kinds of effortlessly fashionable folk who wear very loud 80s prints and sunglasses indoors, the video follows a couple as they lark about in an arcade, various fields and a bowling alley, whilst generally falling for each in other in a very sweet and refreshingly innocent manner.
The clip suits the song perfectly, showcasing the sort of melodic house-lite that Eton Messy are renowned for championing. While this is sure to be another hit for Parlophone’s new dance imprint FFRR, (headed up by DJ and all-around legend Pete Tong), it feels fresh and inclusive, the kind of crossover cut that will no doubt be hailed as responsible for introducing a notoriously difficult genre into the mainstream. We can’t wait.
