FRIST LOOK: T.LIPOP AW14

We take a first look at up and coming designer Tom Lipop’s T.Lipop AW14 menswear collection

The brainchild of designer Lipop and his business partner Eser Ayedemir, the T.Lipop brand has already been making waves for forgoing the trendy, splashy look that’s currently being sported by East London’s cool kids, with a focus on traditional Savile Row tailoring and a “less is more” aesthetic. Unsurprisingly Lipop has already won a design award at Pitto Uomo for his work, with his name on the lips of well-dressed men everywhere and has the backing of SHOWstudio Editor Lou Stoppard, as featured in the summer issue of Rollacoaster, styled by Andrew Davis.

Staying true to his roots the lookbook features a selection of well cut suits and separates, in luxurious fabrics such as wool and calf skin with most pieces constructed from only two pieces of fabric. Remarkable for their timelessness and elegance in black, white, dark blues, beiges and greys, the lookbook is styled in such a way as to let the clothes speak for themselves, we’re already enamoured with several items and can’t wait to get our hands on them! Key stockists include BBS clothing, Layers London and Assembly NY.
