PFW: Viktor & Rolf SS15

With cycling shorts peeping beneath unconventionally structured dresses a plenty, this SS15 Viktor & Rolf are bringing sporty back

Elevated sportswear

This season Viktor & Rolf are bringing sporty back. Making cycling shorts sexy, the staple garment was elevated from mundane to chic, reoccuring throughout the collection in floral print, with lightening bolt yellow stripped sides and in floral brocade, peeping beneath unconventionally structured dresses and ruffled shirt structures. Femininity met functionality and we couldn’t be happier about it.

The power of print

In a Spring heavy palette predominantly built of lobster pink, buttercup yellow, pale lime, soft lavender, and sky blue tones, floral print was splattered on avant-garde tailored dresses, cycling shorts and oversized skirts, then contrasted by pure white dresses with simple skirts and deconstructed straps.

The Baby Bombette

Whilst the shoes imitated a sock appearance in keeping with the sporty aesthetic, SS15’s bag of choice is none other than the Viktor&Rolf Baby Bombette, which enriches the house’s signature Bombette handbag range.
