Graphic stripes and thigh-high slits: this season the Altuzarra woman is a dangerous warrior who’s downright sexy
Modern warrior
The Altuzarra girl was a warrior this season. Under the guidance of Altuzarra’s light and modern touch, of course, nothing screamed this out (no helmets or gold makeup, at least) – yet the feeling was there, in tiny Game of Thrones-worthy earrings, bead-capped rope belts, and lattice-y moccasin heels.

Mixed with miniature pearls, powder pink, and gingham, these ancestral accents combined the best of 50s Hitchcock-era aesthetic with the ethnic element that Altuzarra loves to play with. We’ve seen him do boho tassels before, yet this time they were especially miniature, criss-crossing a sheer black sheath, and accenting, among others, the floor-length gold-floral gown worn by Kati Nescher for his final look.
Sophisticated sex appeal
Graphic stripes and thigh-high slits made this the collection for a dangerous woman, while Mia Farrow’s haunting serenade from Rosemary’s Baby gave us chills. A series of brown and black leather lattices were the most extreme pieces – a vest, a pencil skirt, and a full dress, which struck a medieval note, yet paired with classic tailored separates underneath, hit all the Altuzarra high marks: sophisticated, modern, and downright sexy.
