MCQ × FERGADELIC

London-based tattooist and cult commercial artist Fergadelic has created two bespoke designs for McQ

24-1

Cult tattooist and graphic guru Fergus Purcell, aka Fergadelic, has teamed up with another high-end fashion label to create some quirky cool menswear pieces for AW14. The collaboration between McQ and artist Fergadelic is a match made in heaven with two original designs, the Frankenman and the Scarred McQ, available on knitwear and jersey. One look consists of a signature; literally a sketchy signature across torso and the other shows a repeated male silhouette. Both styles maintain a raw just drawn out feel, as if effortlessly scribbled by Fergadelic onto the fabric. The trademark Fergadelic look takes inspiration from comics, 80’s trash video shops, pop culture and a lot of YouTube vids. Fergadelic is a big fan of homemade tattoos, something that made the McQ team curious about this cult artist. These two bespoke designs are sure to be a wish list favourite to be snapped up  for the chilly season!
