Having signed to Atlantic last year after a whirlwind of accolades, including winning the MOBO Unsung competition which led to a studio session with Plan B and touring with the likes of Emelie Sande, Rudimental and Chase and Status, Jacob Banks is someone that needs to be on your radar. Hailing from Birmingham, the 22-year old singer-songwriter was the first unsigned act to appear on Radio 1’s Live Lounge and his unique blend of R n’ B, soul and hip-hop has been infectious ever since. Check him out on Soundcloud, but for now, have a listen to this mixtape he created exclusively for Wonderland, featuring his long-time loved tracks Jacob tells us why each one is so important for him…

This is the song that is responsible for me being an artist. When I first heard it I wanted to be what he was, in whatever capacity!
