The Leeds-based major mixing duo PBR Streetgang have created us a ‘Life’s a Beach’ inspired playlist…
They’ve been two very busy boys, having just mixed the ‘Boutique Hostal Salinas: Ibiza Summer Sessions’ album, they are set to release new tracks through 2020 Vision, and now they’ve created us a really jammy playlist.
The duo have become known on the club scene for their mix of disco and deep groovy house. Their ever-increasing fan following helped them get booked at a variety of this years festivals, including Secret Garden Party, Wickerman and they’ll soon take the stage at Bestival.
As if that wasn’t enough, the twosome are are also laying out the plans for their very own PBR parties, starting in Leeds and London. The idea is based upon a family and friend vibe and list of artists and will involve pumped up sound and production in small, intimate venues and spaces, some of which will be in non-conventional settings (we’re excited to see this develop!) Here, the band take us on a journey through their favourite summer beach tracks inspired by life on the sands on this totally jammy playlist…

Cannot listen to this record and not feel happy about it – such a great sound, dreamy & wistful but uplifting at the same time.

This record sums up Balearic for me. I once played it at a friend’s farm house in Ibiza during a meteor shower; shooting stars were firing across the night sky around us… magic moments!

Partly written by one of our good friends, Pete Herbert. This record has got one of the finest intro’s I’ve heard… lovely stuff!!

Essential listening. Herbie’s eleven minute epic ‘Stars In Your Eyes’. This beauty was first released back in 1980 and still sounds fresh today.

One of our latest remixes which wouldn’t be out of place on a beach session. Charlotte’s voice is simply amazing!
