Make some noiseeee: Ex Beastie Boy Michael “Mike D” Diamond has collaborated with watch and accessories brand Nixon to create the limited edition Nixon x MD x MC Supertide. A digital timepiece featuring high resolution display, the LTD watch is an unmistakable homage to the musician’s hometown. Its New York City skyline design, captured by photographer Joe Termini, is set on Nixon’s iconic silicon watch body and wrist band, making the Nixon x MD x MC Supertide one distinctive accessory. What’s more is that it also incorporates Mike D’s love of surfing, with the tide information of over 270 beaches pre-programmed into the module until 2023, as well as 48-hour future tide predictions, an alarm, light functions and a heat timer.

How do you adorn your outer extremities with one? Well, when Nixon and Mike D say “limited edition” they mean it; only 50 individual watches were made but aren’t for sale. Translation?
