Goes down easy: We premiere Swiss producer Pablo Nouvelle’s moving new video ‘You Don’t Understand’ featuring buttery smooth vocals from Scottish singer-songwriter A-L-X

A delicious fusion of melancholic pop, soul and dance, ‘You Don’t Understand’ is the next musical offering from AIM and BRIT Award-winning label Black Butter Records’ Pablo Nouvelle. The Swiss producer has already grabbed the attention of BBC Radio with his previous single, ‘Invading My Mind’ featuring Fiona Daniel, which received airtime on both Lauren Laverne’s BBC 6 show and BBC Radio 1’s late night slot with Monki.

Now with plaudits from EARMILK, HUNGER and Hilly Dilly, as well as being touted by The Guardian and Mixmag as the prodigal son of the house music scene, Nouvelle serves up yet another sumptuously smooth tune that’s like Swiss chocolate for your ears. The tasty new single featuring A-L-X, the singer-songwriter dubbed Scotland’s answer to Drake, is the fourth track on Nouvelle’s forthcoming, eponymous album. Whilst recent Wonderland New Noise artist A-L-X lends his trance-inducing vocals to ‘You Don’t Understand’, once again Nouvelle proves that he is not just another electronic music producer with this offering.
