Whilst Wildfang present their first ever in house collection, we premiere their ‘We Are Heroines’ lookbook on Wonderland 

Born from a love of badass fashion iconography and a long-time desire for urban tomboy style clothing that’s considerate of the female form, Portland based trio – Emma, Julia and Tara – are pioneering a new perspective when it comes to women’s fashion. Collectively forming Wildfang, we’ve already profiled the girls brand chatting Patti Smith, badass girl gangs and style crushing on FKA Twigs, but now we’ve got something even more exciting for you – the first ever in house Wildfang collection. Whilst the campaign features various lookbooks each mirroring different range, our favourite has to be the ‘We Are Heroines’ division premiered on Wonderland today.

Inspired by the pioneering fighter pilots of the ’40s and badass ’90s attitudes, personified it’s Shirley Slade meets Sarah Connor or Elizabeth Gardner meets Lara Croft. They face unchartered territory with courage and conviction, style and stamina. Because girls will be tomboys. Presenting their most functional and stealth products – a collection of soft, slouchy basics. Being badass has never been so cosy.
