HUDSON MOHAWKE
Since making his first mix tapes at the tender age of 10 Glaswegian producer Hudson Mohawke, has been pioneering his own enticing blend of hip-hop driven, psychedelic funk induced, electro-centric sound – we’re just hoping he spins his 2008 underground sensation – Ooops.
DISCLOSURE
Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve most definitely heard of Disclosure. The synth-pop spinning brothers with a penchant for producing bubbly garage fuelled versions of all our favourite tracks are sure to keep you dancing until sunrise.
MARIBOU STATE
Renowned for their signature hazy, blissed-out, down-tempo house beats, Cheis Davids and Liam Ivory aka. Maribou State are the perfect act to soundtrack your evening spent watching the Croatian Sunset. Listen out for our favourite’s ‘Moon Circles’ and ‘Blue Sunday’.
ROUTE 94
Having taken the house sphere by storm in 2013, 2014 is set to be even bigger for Rowan Tyler Jones best known as Route 94. Having found support from the likes of Skream and Artwork with his modern house productions, his chart-topping club anthem ‘My Love’ feat. Jess Glynn will ensure everyones feet are stomping to the beat.
PATRICK TOPPING
As a member of the infamous Hot Creations crew, Patrick Topping is hot property this summer. Having garnered international attention with his ‘Get Beasty’ EP, he has also lined himself up a DC-10 residency this summer, for us he’s unmissable.
MANO LE TOUGH
Having come into the limelight in 2009, Mano Le Tough is recognised for his distinct somewhat ethereal electronic sound. Described as the Morrissey of house music, he loves a heartfelt melody making him one of the few house-artists who allows emotion to come through in his sound.
LAURA JONES
It would be rude not to put a woman in here, and with releases on both Visonquest and Crosstown Rebels labels, she’s the female fronting the deep house boom. With disco influenced beats reminiscent of the ’90s coming through in her tracks and her effortless stage presence – she’s a surefire entertainer.
