Summer is pretty much officially here and the warmer months of 2013 seem almost like a distant memory.

Last year Artists such as D’Banj and Stylo G infiltrated our airwaves with their commercial blend of what has felt like an under-appreciated Calypso and Soca sound. Both artists received an abundance of mainstream success, regulary featured on the Official Chart so it reminded us that there are a tonne of UK artists providing the world with their own unique flavour of the genre. London’s very own Mista Silva is a prime example of this so we decided to sit down the man himself and get his lowdown on a couple of his ultimate Afrobeat tracks.
