Allowing us to get under the skin of the house of Shaun Lean like never before, from now until August 29th, the infamous SHOWstudio gallery will play host to an enchanting chamber of curiosities.
>With pieces of Leane’s avante-garde jewellery presented alongside artworks, fashion anecdotes or natural history artefacts that have acted as his influences and inspirations, this exhibition is a sure-fire slice of Leane’s imagination; an exclusive invitation to delve into his kaleidoscopic core. Featuring an exquisitely crafted single diamond tusk earring which harks back to Leane’s first ever creation, seen on the Alexander McQueen catwalk in 1994, along with a vibrant butterfly broach alongside a Damien Hirst original and an extravagant pair of feather earrings positioned with aside a Phillip Treacy hat – this is more than a visual spectacle of artesian jewellery, it’s a retrospective of the house of Shaun Leane.
