We met with born and raised Londoner, Raheem Bakaré, to shoot this exclusive performance of ‘Portrait of Love’, the leading track from his upcoming EP, ‘AWOL’.

Years of home recording and relentless attention to his craft has served the perfectionist in Bakaré well.

With a knowledge and love for R&B music mixed with an eclectic taste, he’s formed a style that can’t easily be pigeon-holed, and a delivery that shouldn’t be missed. For this rendition of ‘Portrait of Love’, Raheem effortlessly transitions into a cover of fellow Londoner, Sampha’s ‘Too Much’, with a soulful vocal that does the original the justice it deserves.
