New York female vocalist Mizan is ready to make her mark on the music world, releasing her visual for ‘Anxious’, the second single from her debut EP ‘Dark Blue’. 

With comparisons to the likes of SZA and Banks, Mizan is moving in some serious circles of tastemaker worthy talent; however her sound is unique, with an approaching darkness to rival her honey sweet vocals.

Moving in the realms of honesty and romance, Mizan cements herself as a powerful female presence. Citing Bob Dylan and Nina Simone as her influences, Mizan’s sound is modern yet with a vintage undercurrent. Mizan makes music that speaks loudly of her existence in not only the world, but more specifically her experience of living in New York City.
