ANDERSEN HOTEL COPENHAGEN

Copenhagen, one of the coolest cities in Europe and the happiest apparently. If you’re planning on visiting soon make sure you choose one of the cities coolest hotels, Andersen Boutique Hotel.

You may not of heard of the Andersen Boutique Hotel, having only opened in 2012 its still a relatively new establishment, but it’s been causing waves in the capital since it opened receiving stellar reviews and the 2014 Trip-advisor Travellers Choice award, why not see what all the hype is about?

A while ago the Swedes we’re holding on to their uber cool crown till the Denmark capital snatched it away, it’s easy to fall in love with Copenhagen, with its laid back, happy, casual atmosphere and fashionably-clad inhabitants its the perfect city for a weekend getaway. Andersen Hotel is situated in the heart of Copenhagen, in its most hip quarter, Vesterbro. In close proximity of chic design shops, exciting restaurants and the meat district Kødbyen, everything down to decor at the Andersen reiterates the neighbourhoods urban, city vibe.

Its a relatively small hotel so get in whilst you can, with only 73 rooms they get snapped up quickly. Every aspect of the rooms design has been carefully constructed, the unique suites and rooms feature wallpaper and interiors by the Designers Guild. You can opt for a Cool Standard Room, a more spacious Brilliant Deluxe room, a Wonderful Superior room or one of the particularly spacious Amazing Junior Suite (which are perfect if you’re bringing the whole family!) and to make your stay even more unique to you, you can even choose from three themes for your room. Whether you go for a turquoise and lime “Mermaid” room, or feel like getting in touch with your feminine side in a pink “Princess” room or go for a the “Royal” Wonderful rooms, you’re sure to be impressed. The interior layout is kept tight and organic in a young and hip design.

Being in a capital city can take it out of you, so if you’re more of a stay-in kind never fear, the hotels relaxed ambience and helpful staff have you covered. The the lobby lounge is a range of complimentary magazines and newspapers and free Wi-Fi if you have some work to catch up on. They also offer a fantastic breakfast buffet first thing then later in the day you can wind down with a glass of wine or lovely specialty coffee with Italian liqueurs. At the Andersen they appreciate a good cup of tea and so made a selection of various teas from Østerlandsk Teahouse, which you can even buy to take home with you.

The Andersen cannot be faulted on location, design and service so if you want an uber trendy stay in one of the coolest cities in Europe, be sure to check out the Andersen Hotel, you won’t be disappointed.
