Many a show has been staged in an art gallery – the crisp white walls and concrete floors are perfect for pumping around in high heels. Never before however has an art gallery, replete with art, been made for a show (inside the Grand Palais nonetheless).
Karl Lagerfeld transported us to a world of well shod art students gliding past Chanel themed artworks. In ever shade of the rainbow, in fact clad in colour palettes and holding portfolios, they showed us that the future involves the most fabulous helmet hair ever, and paints as eye makeup.
