Take a look at the Wood Wood AW14 show from Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Entitled ‘Heroes’, Wood Wood’s latest offering drew its inspiration from the 1961 war film ‘The Guns of Navarone’ and then archetypal hero portrayed in movies of that era.

The styles and colours of uniforms and the DIY spirit of the resistance movements portrayed in these movies, formed the foundation for the ‘Heroes’ collection, which saw iconic silhouettes given a contemporary urban sporty edge balancing style and function. Wood Wood pushed the heroes theme further however incorporating a host of historic heroes from Fausto Coppi to Tupac Skahur in a hand drawn all-over print.

Premium jerseys, wool and nylon were all enhanced with decorative sealed seams, panels and other performance inspired details, all in a deep  colour palette of navy, burgundy and army green with infrequent flashes of fluorescent and mid tones.
