This winter, Wonderland headed to Manchester to check out a brand new collaboration between clothing brand Boxfresh and global gorilla clubnight, Boiler Room
After popping a few miniature Champagnes on a first class ticket to Madchester, Wonderland was dreaming of that wiley, Golden Era foot shuffling Youtube post, plumbed from the archives of the city’s once-fertile Moss Side rave scene.
Warehouse Project’s new residences by United’s Old Trafford stadium is a labyrinthine mesh of rooms, corridors, and secret chill out room after secret chill out room (the one we ended up in, The Green Room, was fitted with a dangerously absorbent zebra print bean bag which we spent an hour not getting up off). It plays perfect host to one of a series of collaborations between Boiler Room and The ‘Project, and was full of the sweat-and-blood-browed rave stoicism we proper southern assholes expect from a northern party.
