MOODY GOOD: GRUMBLES ‘N’ SPARKLES

Previously one-half of 16bit, Eddie Jefferys goes it alone and cloaks under new moniker, Moody Good.

MOODY GOOD

Drum’n’Bass phenomenon Eddie Jefferys is a complete master of all trades, with an incredible body of work already stifled under his belt.

Most notably recognised for his duties in audio duo 16bit, who were responsible for producing some of Bjork’s ‘Biophilia‘ record way back in 2011, the split allowed complete creative freedom for the artist who took his time in limbo to hone his solo craft and build an extensive collection of songs for his forthcoming full-length record which is anticipated in March.

A deal with MTA Records, label of other Electro-duo Chase & Status, and an impressive calibre of collaborations on the record including YADi, Big Narstie and Kyntro, the introductory track is almost angry and corrupt with thudding beats and  intercepting vocals courtesy of newcomer Joshua Idehen and Irish rapper Rejjie Snow.

The record is a complete myriad of sounds and genres fusing together a heady mix of enigmatic sounds which murmur influences from a diverse range of audio stimulation, including forward thinking experimental electronica, and grime sentiments that are laced alongside dreamy ethereal ethereal vocals. Take a listen for yourselves.
