Songstress and all around alternative cute gal VV Brown performs a soulful live performance of ‘The Apple’ for Wonderland Sessions.

It’s nearing four (rather wholesome) years since VV Brown released her debut 50’s retro-esque record ‘Travelling Like The Light.’ But after scrapping the sequel, loosening the trademark fringe roll and taking things back to basics, this year she’s returning to astound us all with an overwhelmingly altered comeback.

Grazing a multitude of sounds during the hiatus, VV Brown’s influences on the new record ‘Samson & Delilah’ are as diverse as Fever Ray, Little Dragon, whom she has been an avid fan of for years, and her ultimate performer, Bjork.

This new album was launched alongside a film premiere show and performance from VV Brown at the ICA this week.

Wonderland Sessions had the pleasure of an exclusive stripped-back performance of new single ‘The Apple’.
