Select‘s Angus Whitehead chatted to us about reggae, space games and his dream of being a farmer.

Hometown: Highbury, London

I was scouted: When I was 15 years old in Elephant & Castle outside an all ages gig.

Favourite childhood memory: Going to Thailand when I was 11, the jungles were amazing.

Hobbies: I like to cycle, hang out with my friends and play computer games

Fear: I don’t like missing out on opportunities.

Current obsession: Deciding my future, it’s been on my mind a lot lately.

Guilty pleasure: Space program-based computer games.

Dream job: I’d quite like to be a farmer.

Favourite place in London: I like to hanging out with friends in parks like Hampstead Heath.

Favourite place in the world: At the moment it would have to be Nepal and Argentina.

Favourite food: Roast duck, chips and red wine.

Favourite film: For a long time it was About A Boy.

First gig: The Libertines.

Music I like: These days I mostly listen to reggae.

Most treasured possession: I’ve lost most of them! Currently it would have to be my passport.

Last thing I bought: A kebab.

Career highlight: My first proper job when I was 16 which was for Uniqlo in New York. It was my first time there so I love exploring the city and I got to stay in some amazing hotels.

Future plans: Studying  Architecture at Uni, continuing to model part time and hopefully do a bit more travelling.
