Pop Art graphics collide with premium accessories in Eyes On The Horizon, the new collaboration between Craig & Karl and MCM.

Despite design duo Craig & Karl living on separate continents – Craig in New York, Karl in London – they’ve overcome the timezone difficulties and made it work. In fact, their punchy lines and bright colours have gotten them work from labels like Louis Vuitton and Opening Ceremony (they also did one of our favourite New York magazine covers). So needless to say, when we heard they were collaborating on an accessories line with German premium leather goods firm MCM, we were pretty excited.

Eyes On The Horizon comprises of an extensive line of backpacks, purses, document cases and key-rings, but don’t expect this to be a sedate affair. In keeping with their sunkissed Australian upbringing, the entire collection is pretty much a summer-y delight, with the key motif being a pair of eyes peeking cheekily through sunglasses. No wonder Susie Bubble’s a fan.
