Welcome to Hit List, a weekly roundup of all things best and present in the world of beauty and fashion. This week, we kick about the best trainers for spring and summer. So take a look, grab a bag, and if the shoe fits, get it.

1. Nike and Liberty of London Floral Firsts

Liberty of London and Nike have combined forces, yet again, to create the Floral Firsts collection with Nike iD. The trainers are available in three cultish Nike silhouettes, with springy colours in peach, pink or navy, in two of Liberty of London’s famous prints, Capel and Pepper. These are the glass slippers of trainers.

Available in pink £145, in peach £110 and navy £105 at www.liberty.co.uk

 2. Rick Owens Trainers

Few things will look as cool on your feet as the soft, buttery sheen of Rick Owens black trainers. The sleek design is architectural, ultra-modern and plays into the very popular monochrome trend. We rate these the Theophilus London in Marrakech of trainers.

Available £643 at www.thecorner.com

KenzoHitListTrainers 3. Kenzo Trainers

Kenzo, known for being cool, sporty and a little wild, gives us these chunky animal print trainers. With the hemp soles and blue hue, we rate these the Rihanna making love on a safari fashion shoot of trainers.

Available £298 at www.thecorner.com

4. New Balance The Alpine Pack Trainers

New Balance perfectly compliments the sporty trend for the season. While these fluorescent coloured trainers won’t be available until July, the New Balance Alpine Pack trainers are the loud and proud statement of this summer. The Grimes eating orange sherbet of trainers.

Available in July £65 at www.asos.com

 5. Dune Trainers

Dune gives us a taste of Las Vegas glam trouble with these black and gold trainers. The black and metallic add some glitz while the gold scales add that rattlesnake razzmatazz. The bad girl from Dallas trainer.

Available £75 at www.javari.co.uk

6. Jeffrey Campbell Pop-Art Trainers

Any trainer that kicks ass superhero style is a trainer we want on our feet immediately. The Jeffrey Campbell sneaks are pop-art inspired, with streaks of red, white and black shine. Clearly the Andy Warhol street hustling with the Justice League of trainers.

Available £145 at www.javari.co.uk

7. Reebok Women’s Freestyle Hi Int R12 x Basquiat

The new Reebok trainers are the underground cool as fuck trainers of the list. Why, may you ask? The works of the late and great graffiti artist Jean-Michel Basquiat were the inspiration behind the design. Honestly, ’nuff said.

Available £90 at www.reebok.co.uk
