The spring 2013 women’s collection from New York-based brand Rag & Bone offers up a delightful miscellany of scorching hot references. Inspired in part by the frenetic desert storm of the Paris-Dakar rally, it cleverly reinvents motocross staples (like side-striped leather trousers), and mixes it up with the kind of clobber you’re more likely to come across in the hot, hot, heat (like explorer-worthy khakis and Bedouin head scarves.)

Here, in an exclusive film for wonderlandmagazine.com, Wonderland’s Senior Fashion Editor at Large, Anthony Unwin, takes the collection for a spin with photographer Tim Zaragoza and all-American beauty Martha Hunt, who smoulders, fades and shimmers through key looks to a hazy, shoegaze-tinged soundtrack.
