We debut ‘Compliment Your Soul’, the new video for Hype Machine darling Dan Croll.

Back in September, we were introduced to the twinkly, feel-good sounds of Dan Croll via shamelessly effervescent single ‘From Nowhere‘ – think an English Vampire Weekend crossed with the pace-y, breathless pop of Ra Ra Riot.

Now the Liverpudlian’s back with the Afrobeat-inspired track ‘Compliment Your Soul’, featuring some very sweet moves and

an array of slightly disturbing taxidermy. (You can thank Swedish producer Johan Hugo of The Very Best for its joyously hip-swivelling groove.)

Right now, Croll’s embarked on a US tour with Chvrches and Darwin Deez, but we’re fully expecting him to be all over the festival circuit – ‘Compliment Your Soul’ is the exact kind of tune that’s tailored for headlining a stage at the height of summer.
