WONDERLUST: SAM LAWSON

How To Get Your Ex Back

Pretty boy Sam Lawson from Select charms us with his cheeky chap nature and love of Spider-man. Watch out though, he might just egg your house when you’re not looking…

How did you become a model?

A photographer came into my work and asked if I wanted to do some test shots.

What were you doing before modelling?

Doing amateur boxing, at college studying Sports Science and working part time in retail.

What do you like to do when you’re not modelling?

Boxing.

What type of music do you like?

Rock ‘n’ roll.

What’s your favourite film?

Any films with Arnie (Schwarzenegger), you can’t beat them. I’m also obsessed with Spider-Man, the first Spider-Man film is the best.

When you were a kid what did you dress up as for Halloween?

I was a little chavy scallywag, egging people’s homes in my Spider-Man costume.

Where has been your favourite place you’ve travelled?

America is really nice. I also like South Korea which I visited to do a shoot for Kai-aakmann. The people are so polite and make you feel really part of their culture. I didn’t try dog though!

What’s your favourite place to hang out in London?

Angel.

What couldn’t you live without?

My boxing club, I like going down there to escape.

What was the last thing you bought?

A Stone Island shirt.

Can you curl your tongue?

Yeah, and ripple it too!

If you could meet anyone (dead or alive) who would it be?

Mike Tyson or Mohammad Ali. That would be crazy.

What would you like to do in the future?

I would like to do something with fitness and helping people. If I can’t be Spider-man I’ll be a fireman instead.
